Vote for the Oreo Jingle!

OK, as many of you know, I love barbershop harmony. I sing with an award-winning chorus in Minneapolis, and have sung in a quartet for several years. One of our coaches, Kim Hulbert, sings with a quartet called A Cappella Gold in San Diego and they are one of the 5 finalists for the new Oreo Jingle!

So I have a request: please go out to the Oreo website and vote for A Cappella Gold (if they're your favorite!). You can vote once a day today through July 17. Wouldn't it be cool to say a friend of a friend is singing the new Oreo jingle???

Click here to hear A Cappella Gold (and the other finalists). Tough not to tap your toe along with them dunking their Oreos!

Amanda:

Thanks for visiting - and for voting! Vote today and vote often. Barbershop singing is a lost art and I want to make sure others like you (you're not really a middle school dork!) get to hear it and appreciate it! Thanks again!!!

A San Diego based women’s barbershop quartet known as “A Cappella Gold” -- sang their way to national fame, winning this year’s “Oreo & Milk Jingle” contest. The group was honored by Grammy Award winning producer Randy Jackson in a special ceremony at the renowned Grauman’s Chinese Theatre where they made an impression in Hollywood with an “Oreo twist” by putting their handprints among the Hollywood Stars. As the winners, “A Cappella Gold” receives $10,000, the chance to record an Oreo commercial – and the opportunity to meet Grammy Award-winning producer Randy Jackson at a special Hollywood ceremony.
